Madou Parys

Practicing speech therapist

Background

Madou Parys is a speech therapist and has been working in the practice since 2017. After obtaining her Master's in Speech Therapy at KU Leuven, she specialized in treating children with learning difficulties and disorders (dyslexia, dysorthography, and dyscalculia) and in supporting individuals with acquired brain injury (aphasia, dysarthria, and apraxia).

She also focuses on therapy for communication and swallowing problems resulting from neurodegenerative diseases, including Parkinson's, ALS, and dementia (such as Primary Progressive Aphasia).

By attending courses, study days, and consulting professional literature, she works in an evidence-based and individual manner. She views the client as a whole and places the person's talents and interests at the center, aiming to achieve the best results together.
